I am delighted to share that I am working in collaboration with Pure Floral Design to lead a full day “Handmade Hatting” workshop at the beautiful Brimstage Hall in Wirral.
Brimstage Hall and Courtyard is an idyllic rural village, which lies at the heart of the Wirral peninsula. Originally built some time during the 12th century, the hall is stepped in history and has retained its charm over many hundreds of years.
If one thing is for sure, it’s that Brimstage Hall is an inspiring environment in which to make beautiful headpieces.
Pure Floral, as you might have guessed, is a floristry business which offers exquisite floral designs for weddings, events and private functions. Donna at Pure Floral has also been running impressive floristry workshops for quite a while.
Together, we want to create something that offers a bit “more”. Including bridal workshop packages – perfect for brides who want to be part of the burgeoning handmade wedding trend and save costs. Even if you’re not getting married, it’s an amazing opportunity to learn a new skill.
Millinery, for those of you that may not know, is the design, manufacture and sale of headwear. At one point in time, British people would not be seen without a hat! But wearing hats is becoming popular again.
If you would like to learn how to make your very own unique and feminine headpiece, join me on Friday 16th February between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm. It costs £80 for the entire day and that includes all materials and tuition.
